FPS advises Klaes GmbH & Co. KG on the sale to Forterro

Founded in 1983, the family-owned company Klaes is one of the world's leading software providers for the window, door, facade and conservatory industry. For over 40 years, Klaes has been developing innovative, modular software solutions for manufacturers and distributors of all sizes. Its products are available in 28 languages and are used by 7,600 customers in more than 50 countries.

Forterro has established itself as a leading ERP provider of software solutions for the industrial sector. Through a targeted "buy-and-build" strategy, the company has evolved from a Nordic on-premise ERP provider into a pan-European multi-product software platform for the industrial mid-market. Today, Forterro supports over 25,000 industrial enterprises across Europe with industry-specific software solutions.

The parties signed the transaction documentation in April 2026. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
